The SpeakEasy Spa is an appointment-only boutique spa in the heart of Kansas City’s Crossroads District, just steps from Union Station, Crown Center, and the Power & Light District. Behind our white door, guests step into a secret sanctuary with a touch of 1920s mystery. We offer massage, facials, and body treatments delivered by highly trained therapists, along with parties and group celebrations. Our woman-owned spa puts every guest’s comfort, privacy, and security first, and our clients return for the healing, grounding, and personal restoration they find here.
Our journey began in 2004, when founder Jordan Hunter started practicing as a single massage therapist. Over more than 20 years, that practice grew into a trusted team with a loyal client base. In 2012, we incorporated as The Therapy House. On January 1, 2025, we rebranded as The SpeakEasy Spa, a new name and a new experience built on the same commitment to personalized care. In October 2026, we expanded our menu with seasonal body wraps, and we continue to grow our team of licensed therapists and estheticians.
